A
Family Man with Vision and Values
 I
love my family. My wife Courtney and I have been married for 14
years. She is my best friend and a great mother to our children. I
can always count on her love and support. I am so fortunate to
have her wisdom
and counsel. I am dedicated to being a big part of my
children's lives. I coach or assist with their sports teams,
help them with their homework, and tuck them in and pray with them
each night. I believe family is important, and as your state
senator, I will fight for your family and mine.
I have a
conservative vision for Mississippi's future. Businesses
must be allowed to operate without excessive
government regulations and unnecessary taxation. I believe that we
have a spending problem, not a lack-of-money problem in the
Mississippi legislature. I support the free enterprise system
because it allows citizens to thrive because of their hard work
and ingenuity. Attracting new
businesses to Mississippi that offer good jobs to our people is
vital. I support quality economic development.
My
conservative values are very near to my heart. I have been a
leader in the  pro-life
community for the last 7 years. I was awarded Pro-Lifer of the
Year in 2006 by Pro-Life Mississippi. I helped lead the fight to
protect traditional marriage in 2004. I
firmly believe that marriage is between a man and a woman. As an ordained
minister and denominational consultant, I have supported all
efforts to protect
the words: "In
God We Trust," "One Nation Under God," and "Ten
Commandments" displays.
Our
Judeo-Christian heritage is under attack and I intend to fight and
protect it. I need your help. I am an ordinary guy who is trying
to run for an extraordinary office. I need volunteers to stuff
envelopes and to put out yard signs. I need people to make phone
calls and to write letters. If my beliefs reflect yours, would you
consider being a part of this campaign? I am excited and
optimistic about the next several months. See you on the campaign
